Outside Lands 2010 Lineup Release and Make a Crowd

Outside Lands 2010 lineup release has made at least 80,000 people attended the concert. Actually, there's a serious wine contingent descending on Golden Gate Park for Outside Lands. The Wine Lands tent will feature a diverse cast of more than two dozen wineries, a mix of larger names and sought-after small labels. Of those, roughly 50,000 ventured into the area devoted to wine, according to organizers. People can purchase a taste or a glass. Each winery has its own area made from the planks of an old wooden chicken coop, which the festival purchased in Sonoma.
It may not be the greatest Outside Lands lineup ever, but this weekend's big-honkin' music, included wine and food. Festival packs a bicycle basket-full of bands which are stroked to see. Here, in no particular order, are 10 of them, plus a few honorable mentions that just had to mutter about. The festival kicks off on Saturday morning with the first acts going on at noon and ends Sunday evening. The vision for Outside Lands 2010 may be the experience of sipping local merlot out of a compostable wine glass on Speedway Meadow, with Phoenix strumming in the background. And there's nothing wrong with that.

San Francisco's big, multi-stage music fest, Outside Lands, is back this year in Golden Gate Park, in the jolly old month of Fogust, scaled back to two days instead of three and with one fewer stage to run between. The fun starts tomorrow at noon, with The Whigs kicking off an early set at the Speedway Meadow. The only downside of this lineup is that you're going to have to miss some amazing performances because, despite their best efforts, there's not enough time in the day for a few of these great artists not to overlap.
A taste of the bay area is an understatement when it comes to the restaurants that will be catering to the Outside Lands crowd. The third edition of the Outside Lands 2010 lineup release in San Francisco is almost here. It will take place on August 14th and 15th at the spectacular Golden Gate Park. Aside from its natural beauty, the park contributes an incredible element which helps the audience enjoy the music like no other of this nature, the vegetation acts like a natural insulation, preventing the music coming from one stage from mixing with the other. As you know, last year, Outside Lands provide five stages, one of which was run with solar energy.
